The hotel has a good location near Bridgend, with easy access from the M4. While the friendly reception staff made me feel welcome, the overall experience was marred by the poor condition of the rooms and the dining quality. The bar area was often unmanned, which added to the frustration during busy times. The breakfast and buffet were also disappointing and didn't meet expectations.

Rooms
5.0
The room was in a poor state, with a musty smell and several maintenance issues, which really detracted from my stay.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect for beach access, and I appreciated the clean garden facilities for my dog. However, the noise from the wedding party and the discomfort of the bed really affected my sleep during the stay. While the staff were accommodating, the restrictions around dog-friendly areas were a bit unclear. The room decor was nice, but there was definitely room for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were a good standard, nicely refurbished but the bed was uncomfortable with only two pillows provided.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally friendly and accommodating, but there were some inconsistencies with communication regarding dog policies.

I had a lovely time at the hotel with its clean and friendly environment, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, which added to my enjoyment. However, I did face some issues with noise from the floor above and the hot tub in the spa was out of order during my visit. Overall, a nice place for a short getaway.

Rooms

Overall, my stay at this hotel was quite mixed. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, which was a plus for my family. The staff were very accommodating and helpful during our stay. However, the dining experience left much to be desired, especially when it came to breakfast options and charges that felt unclear. The pool area was lovely, but there were some limitations with timing for the children's pool.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and spacious, perfect for our family of four. However, the decor felt a bit on the dark side, and we struggled with the heat despite setting the temperature to the lowest possible.

While most staff were friendly and accommodating, my experience with resolving a billing issue was frustrating. I felt like I was not given the support I needed during a stressful situation.
Location

The pool area was enjoyable and well-kept, providing a nice way to relax together as a family. However, the children's pool hours were a bit too restrictive for us.

My recent stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the overall experience was disappointing due to the poor condition of the room and some mismanagement during my spa visit. The location was decent, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a reliable spa experience.

Rooms
5.0
I was initially placed in a room that was incredibly outdated and not at all what I expected for a Bridal Suite. After downgrading, the new room was slightly better, but still had issues. Overall, the decor left much to be desired.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were friendly, the overall service experience felt rushed and disorganized, especially during my spa treatment.
Location
7.0
The hotel was situated about a mile from the train station, which made it convenient enough for getting around.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was decent when it came to the afternoon tea; however, there were delays and confusion about what was included in the package.
Facilities

The spa facilities seemed well-equipped, but I faced issues accessing them, and the presence of barking dogs was quite distracting.
